NSU is preparing the application for reaffirmation of our accreditation with the SACS CoC, the regional accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit colleges and universities at eleven states in the Southeastern U.S.. Accreditation speaks to various facets of a university, but SACS has encouraged institutions to focus on their core facet—how they enhance student learning. In particular, institutions applying for reaffirmation of accreditation must include a Quality Enhancement Plan that describes a five-year plan to enhance student learning at the institution.
